Inviting
comments/suggestions on the Staff Paper for adoption
of CERC RE Regulations 2012 and Determination/Fixation of generic levellised Tariff for various Renewable Energy Technologies
for the year 2012-13
In exercise of the powers
conferred under Section 61 read with Sections 86 and 181 of the Electricity
Act, 2003 (36 of 2003), the Commission proposes to adopt the Central
Electricity Regulatory Commission (Terms & Conditions for Tariff
determination from Renewable Energy Sources) Regulations, 2012 (CERC RE
Regulations, 2012) with
State specific modifications and determine generic tariff for various renewable
energy technologies for the year 2012-13.
Staff
Paper in this regard has been prepared and is available on the website of the
Commission www.pserc.nic.in .
Comments/suggestions of the stakeholders are invited on the staff paper by May
15, 2012. It may be noted that the staff paper does not necessarily represent
the views of the Commission.
